Ramsey Unit’s Visiting Hours and Rules
Inmates at the Ramsey unit are allowed to have visitors only on Sundays and Saturdays. You can visit between 8 am and 5 pm. Each inmate can only receive one visit every weekend. However, 2 adults can visit an inmate at the same time. All visits can’t exceed 2 hours. The only visit that can exceed 2 hours are special visits and such visits require the Warden’s office approval.
All visitors must first contact Ramsey Unit before coming to the facility to visit an inmate. This is to ensure the inmate hasn’t had another visitor and if he is still at the correctional facility or has been transferred somewhere else. Visitors are only permitted to carry $20 which they can use to buy things in the vending machine in the visiting room. The money must be in a small-sized Ziploc bag.
