Book Now, Pay later– This option gives flexibility to the traveler by paying a part of the fare realized as a guarantee now, and then the rest component of the price can be paid when the departure date arises. We cannot use Paypal for round the world trips, flight vouchers, and non-flight products or services, and when carbon offset and insurance for travel are included in one’s flight booking. Paypal– One can use Paypal to make payment when the departure is from the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. We cannot avail of this option when flying from any other country. POLi- This type of payment method is applicable when departing from Australia or New Zealand only, the person has a personal account, and insurance or carbon credits are not included in the fare. The benefits of POLi are that it is safe, and no extra fee is charged for making payment. Qantas Credit– Qantas Flight Credit can be used to pay for covering the entire trip or part of the trip. To redeem the flight credit points, enter your credit reference number and your last name on every applicable flight by Qantas. Qantas points– Qantas Points can be used or redeemed for holidays, flight upgrades, and when buying or renewing a membership to the Qantas Club. Qantas Travel Pass– A virtual card that can be issued when a flight credit is requested for a booking. The issuance of a travel pass is followed by an email confirmation containing the Travel Pass number, date of expiry, and how to use it.

Payment Fee Through Cards

When bookings are made from Australia and New Zealand by credit card, charge card, debit card, prepaid cards, or PayPal, then a card payment fee is applied per ticket for a card until an exception is made.

Stored Cards

The facility to store cards can be used when the booking is frequent, through which one can store and save the details of credit or debit cards for future use. 

Payment Through POLi

Step 1: Select the payment label on the Qantas payment site.

Step 2: The website will direct you to the POLi site.

Step 3: Choose your bank account to make payment and follow the instructions listed to proceed.

Step 4: Once the payment is made, you will be redirected back to the Qantas website.

Conditions Of Using Travel Pass

Travel Pass can be used when:

flight bookings made are shown by the expiry date,travel products such as an extra baggage allowance and seat selection are booked with Qantasmultiple bookings are made so that the entire value is not used at one time, andInvolves any number of passengers, including even the ones not on the original booking.

Making Payment Using Travel Pass

One’s Travel Pass can be used in a manner just like any prepaid card for making payment for booking a flight.

Book the flight on the website of Qantas

Once you have landed on the ‘Payment’ page, then select the ‘TravelPass and Credit’ option present on the payment panel. Enter the details after selecting the preference.

Travel Pass Fees

There is no requirement to pay fees for card payments when one is paying online with the TravelPass. In case the new booking exceeds the balance in your TravelPass, then you can reimburse the balance with another type of card. A card payment fee may be applied to the balance. 

Payment Through Qantas Office

When making payments through the Qantas office, a maximum of 2 payment modes can be used. Example- One can use two debit or credit forms to cover flight expenses. Booking fees may apply when paying through the Qantas office.
