Multitask like a millennial—walk and snap

When: Saturday, March 31st, 10 A.M. – 5:30 P.M.

Where: San Francisco

Why: Follow the coastline for a very brisk 15-mile walk. You’ll pass the Embarcadero Center, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center, Baker Beach, Lands End, the Sutro Bath ruins…and still further, all the way to the zoo. There will be a stop for lunch, with the hike ending around 5:30 P.M. Talk about a full yet fulfilling day! How many San Franciscans can say they’ve tackled this challenge? Party like a Weasley twin

When: Saturday, March 31st, 2018, 10 P.M. – 2 A.M.

Where: Origin Nightclub

Why: Break out some broken glasses and a trendy scar, because Origin Nightclub is transforming into Hogwarts on Saturday night. If you don’t wish to dress up, you’ll probably just be considered a muggle. Props, decorations, a sorting hat, a complimentary photo booth, and a special drink menu are all part of the deal. Please don’t ask anyone if they want to see your Nimbus 2000, or brag about the springiness of your wand. // 1538 Fillmore Street, Western Addition, tickets here.

Drink like you mean it, for a cause

When: Saturday, March 31st from 6 P.M. – 10 P.M.

Why: If you’ve ever been curious about the famous Swig Suite penthouse at the Fairmont, this weekend you can waltz around in it for a good cause. KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) is a nonprofit organization that provides free recreational opportunities for children and young adults with disabilities. There will be plenty of wine to go around, so drink up and remember: there are no calories when it’s for the kids. // 950 Mason Street, San Francisco, tickets available here.
