Princess Beatrice’s royal wedding venue and date have been revealed by the palace. The wedding couldn’t come at a better time to help get the royal family back on track with their public.

Princess Beatrice of York is a member of the British royal family as her father is Prince Andrew, who is the son of Queen Elizabeth II and her mother was Sarah, Duchess of York. She is the eldest of two daughters and has a younger sister, Princess Eugenie. Princess Beatrice is ninth in line to the British throne.

The 31-year-old bride to be’s wedding day is almost upon us as it was set for May 29, 2020. According to E! the Royal Family finally decided to reveal the date of her wedding to the public. Princess Beatrice will be saying “I do” to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and anglophiles could not be more excited. According to Buckingham Palace the venues were also announced as Queen Elizabeth II, the princess’ grandmother, had given the couple permission to marry in The Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace in London.

Princess Beatrice’s wedding will not be the first royal wedding to be set in the chapel as Queen Victoria married Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg in 1840 and King George V and Queen Mary also said their vows in 1893. The chapel had also been home to numerous christenings which included Prince George and Prince Louis, while Princess Charlotte was christened at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk. After Princess Beatrice is married, she and her guests will head to a private reception thrown by the Queen in her royal gardens of Buckingham Palace.

The Princess’s fiancé popped the question back in September of 2019. Soon after their Italian vacation, the Palace announced the news to the public by sharing a picture of the couple on their Instagram. The last any royal admirers heard about the wedding was that their date would be some time in 2020 but now, thanks to the update, followers have a better handle about their wedding planning. The wedding comes at a good time as her father, the Duke of York had recently asked to step back from his royal duties this past November after being linked with a known pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein. The royal family also has had a hard-new year thanks to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle choosing to step back from their senior royal duties and uprooting themselves to North America. Royal admirers are looking forward to all the pomp and circumstance they can take with this happy wedding in the not so distant future.
