At an event in New York City today, Qualcomm unveiled its next generation chipset for the next wave of high-end Android devices: the Snapdragon 820. The company had previously revealed details about the Adreno 530 GPU, Spectra ISP, and the modem it would be using on the chipset, but today it has provided more in-depth detail them. The Snapdragon 820 chipset will make use of Qualcomm’s custom Kryo cores clocked at up to 2....

Some 773M email addresses have been exposed by hackers in what is the largest ever breach. Alongside the email addresses are 21M passwords … Security professional and Microsoft Regional Director Troy Hunt said that the collection of email addresses and passwords comes from thousands of different sources, and the raw numbers were even higher before he started de-duping and cleaning up the data to find out what hackers had actually obtained....

You see, while mmWave, a 5G spectrum band, offers a significantly faster bandwidth than what we have today, it also has a much shorter range and its connection can be easily blocked by minor obstacles such as walls or even your hand.
