This morning I woke up to discover a Chrome update waiting for me on my Galaxy Note II. Taking a peek at the changelog, it said Google Translate, a feature I’ve been using in Chrome Beta, is now available in Chrome Stable. And sure enough, after I applied the update, it worked flawlessly. You might not care, but I read websites in multiple languages on a daily basis. Finnish, Swedish, Russian, German, French, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, I’ll go through all of those in a single day....

According to a well-known media web portal, Bloomberg, the tech giant Apple received “unprecedented access” to the giant chip maker Qualcomm’s source code, on condition that it isolates its engineers from teams working with the giant chip maker Intel – it provides modems for some iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus models. The lawsuit says that this separation did not occur: for example, at an Apple request to obtain proprietary information from the giant chip maker Qualcomm, an Intel engineer was on the list....

Qualcomm today announced its next-generation chipset meant for high-end smartphones of 2017: the Snapdragon 835. A French security company VUPEN , was the first one to bag a Mac, as they cracked a 64-bit Safari which performed a disk read-write operation even though it was sandboxed, within 5 secs of visiting the exploit website.
